Recover with sports rehab
Maintain your health and fitness, recover from and prevent injury and reduce pain. We help people of all ages using exercise, movement and manual-based therapeutic interventions.
What is sports rehab?
Sports rehabilitation is a specialised form of therapy designed to help people recover from injuries, improve their overall physical performance and get back to activities they are not able to do. It focuses on sports-related and everyday injuries, such as sprains and strains.
Our rehab therapists assess the nature and severity of your injury, consider your personal objectives and create a personalised treatment plan, using manual treatment, exercises, stretching and strengthening.
Who is it for?
- Sports and gym-related injuries
- Sprains and strains
- Returning to activity after an injury
- Weakness you want to get to the bottom of
What to expect
- 01
Medical history
We go through how the injury happened, past injuries and your activity.
- 02
Physical assessment
Movement and strength testing to find what is involved.
- 03
Your goals
A discussion about your goals, then a diagnosis and recommendations.
- 04
First treatment
Your first session starts on the day: exercises, massage, dry needling, cupping or myofascial release as suits you.
Between sessions
Follow the load limits in your plan. Some soreness after exercise is expected, but pain that worsens the next day means scale back and tell your therapist at your next visit.
