If you are suffering from pain, numbness or a tingling sensation that radiates from your lower back and travels down one of your legs, then it is likely you are suffering from sciatica.
What is sciatica?
Sciatica describes pain, numbness or tingling that travels from the lower back along the sciatic nerve into the buttock and leg. It is often linked to irritation of a nerve root in the low back.
We start with neurological and orthopaedic testing to find what is involved. If anything suggests you need urgent care or imaging beyond ours, we refer you to your GP or hospital.

Your diagnosis and treatment recommendations, explained at your second visit.
Between visits
Stay gently active and follow the exercises your chiropractor gives you. Seek urgent medical care for numbness in the groin, loss of bladder or bowel control, or weakness in both legs.
