Gentle care through pregnancy
As your body changes and adapts to accommodate your growing baby, it is essential to ensure that you are taking care of yourself. We offer a Pregnancy and New Mum Consultation at our Rayleigh clinic.
Is chiropractic care safe in pregnancy?
One of the most common issues faced by pregnant women is back pain. As your baby grows, the added weight and pressure on your spine can lead to pain, discomfort and postural changes. Gentle chiropractic care may help ease lower back pain, hip pain and pelvic pain.
It is important to work with chiropractors trained in prenatal care, and open communication between the chiropractor and your midwife or obstetrician helps ensure coordinated care. X-rays are not taken during pregnancy.
